CFO Of Clinton Library Building Company Goes Missing

Let the conspiracy theories commence!  The CFO of the company which built the Clinton Library has gone missing.

"He may be under some kind of compulsion ... some kind of blackmail, that's a scenario you could dream up," said his brother, Roger Glasgow. "We're not suggesting any of these scenarios because we just don't know. But it does open up a Pandora's box of possibilities."

The company is undergoing an audit, but says that there is no money missing.

Weeks before his disappearance, his wife Melinda found him pacing in their kitchen as the end-of-the-year audit period approached. Dillard's had sent "absolutely relentless" auditors to review CDI's books, she said.

Nothing to see here, move along.  He just went "walkabout".
It will be interesting if the Obama campaign mentions this at all to draw attention away from his ties to Rezko.

1 I would doubt there is any direct connection with Clinton; but on the theory that Clinton would attract people just as sleazy as himself,  there is probably some hanky panky going on with the books which Glasgow was afraid would be exposed.

2 I completely agree.  The internet conspiracies are going to start up though, you can count on it.  If Obama were as sneaky as the Clintons, I'd expect a sub-rosa campaign to make a connection between them and Glasgow.

I've been looking for the Clintons to push that angle, nothing makes them feel better and look better than crazies attacking them.

In the 90s, if you said anything bad about them people always, and I mean always, always, always, said something like, "Oh, so you think they killed Vince Foster and had the State Police kill their political rivals and... blah, blah, blah-freaking conspiracy theory, blah".

Just like the people these days when you say something like, "I don't like McCain because of his stance on illegal immigration." will reply, "Oh, so you have McCain Derangement Syndrome, huh?"

It's a beautiful, fact-free and fair-play-free way of discrediting your opposition.

4 Their specialty.  If Obama's camp doesn't start something, you're probably right... somebody in the Clinton camp will start their own whispering campaign just so they have something to cry "Foul!" against.
